"I've looked at clouds from both sides now, From up and down and still somehow, It's cloud's illusions I recall, I really don't know clouds at all" Judy Collins

This memorial website was created by Michael A. Sunderlin Jr. to honor a man very dear to my heart, my uncle Thomas Lewis Minichiello Jr. Thomas was born in Portsmouth, New Hampshire on 23 October 1948 and passed away on 7 May 2007. He touched the lives of everyone he met. Not a day goes by that I don't think about him and wonder what he would think about a current event. Thomas was a very family oriented man. He was very proud of his three nephews. He would have loved knowing he had a great-nephew named Thomas, but my uncle passed away before Thomas' birth. I feel very fortunate that I got to know him the longest since I am the oldest. I remember spending a week with him every summer at his home in Nashua as a child. It may have been a "break" for my mom, but to me it was truly special. I had a lot of fun with him and meeting his friends and colleagues. My uncle is the one who got me interested in presidential politics. I remember watching the Reagan-Mondale debates with him as well as going door to door with him when he campaigned for a particular candidate. I will never forget attending a political rally at then-Govenor Judd Gregg's home and having my picture taken with then-Vice President George H.W. Bush. I was 9 and it was the day he announced his candidacy for the Presidency. My mom still has the picture hanging in her living room. He took me to many historical landmarks and taught me a lot about U.S. and world history. He will live forever in our memories and hearts.
